    • We offer an intimate and loving experience. Unlike large institutions, we take special care of your loved ones and support them with whatever their needs may require. Our location is ideal in that it is close enough to the city, but far enough where they can enjoy the peaceful silence. 

 

  • Are Private Rooms available?

    • ​At Carmelina's Home For 'D' Aged, the residents are all placed in their own private rooms to ensure that they have their own privacy and comfort. 

 

  • Who is a good candidate for being a Carmelina's resident?

    • At Carmelina's Home for 'D' Aged, we specialize in taking care of the elderly with Dementia and Alzheimers. We understand the frustration that comes with taking care for someone with early stages of Alzheimer's/Dementia. It is frustrating, time-consuming, and emotionally draining.   • I am abroad, but I want my parents to be well taken care of. How can Carmelina's help me?

    • We have family abroad ourselves. We understand how important family is to one another. For our residents with family abroad, we can offer Skype sessions so you can keep in touch with them on a day-by-day basis. 

  • What are the qualifications of your staff?

    • The staff are directly managed by the owners. We have on-staff nurses trained in CPR, first aid, and many other certificiations.
